Mama's Mini Project!!

Hello dear readers, hope you are having a wonderful spring time. We are enjoying the warm weather and getting out in the sunshine. Mama and Kelsyee got some new flowers to put in the ground for the year and some bulbs to put into the ground forever. And Mama got a Jasmine plant that smells sooooo good, she says it reminds her of the trip she and Nana took to New Orleans several years ago. Mama said they were in bloom while they were there and the smell was every where.

So the project that Mama has been working on is Mini Outfits. She wanted to buy some cute clothes for our mini dolls and they were so expensive so mama decided to make some. Here is the first one she made. This one is following the pattern she got.

She changed the length of the top on the second one .. it turned out cute to I think, I love the lavender myself but then it is my favorite color.

Next we tried the sailor outfit, it turned out so darn cute, The detail and cute collar was so neat. That little red tie on the end of the collar was easy to do and is a cute touch. We loved this pattern too.

Next we tried the sailor dress in blue .. Nana loved the blue and one of her girls kept it for their mini dolls. We did the top part in a different stitch and it made the dress a little longer.

The little shoes are small enough that they actually stay on the mini's feet. I was shocked.

Next we made some cute other dresses. The first two are made from the sailor dress pattern without the collar, and an embroidery flower on the front to make it more dressy. Then the pink one is just the pattern and the 4th July one is a little play on the sailor dress.

Here are a few of the 4th of July outfits that mama is working on now. She did capri outfits now too, with the baby doll tops.

Now Mama is working on some new ideas, so keep watch for more mini outfits ..
